  1. General

    1. Bookings are subject to these Terms and Conditions on signature of the contract. Variation to the Terms and Conditions may be made from time to time and will be posted on our website.

    2. It is the upmost importance that you give full information to us in relation to the needs and requirements of your pet(s). Client/pet owners are required to complete the booking form giving details of their pet(s) relating to any previous or current medical history. We will rely upon the information that you have given us within the initial booking form unless you advised us that your pet(s) condition or requirements have changed.

    3. Information given in the initial booking form will be used for all subsequent bookings unless we are notified of any changes in your pet(s) condition or requirements.

    4. If we are required to make any extra trips following the initial free meet and greet in order to collect any keys/items to the property, this will incur and additional charge of £5.00.

    5. We will endeavor to leave your property as we found it. You are respectfully asked to note that we will not undertake any additional cleaning/maintenance duties.

    6. If you book us for the house sit option, the pet sitter should provide their own food, bedding and towels. However, if the pet sitter does not consider that your property is of a reasonable standard of cleanliness or that the facilities available to them are inadequate, the booking may be declined.

 

 

  1. Your pet(s)

 

  1.  We cannot accept bookings for badly behaved or aggressive animals. We reserve the right to refuse bookings if your pet(s) display any form of aggression or antisocial behavior either towards humans, animals or property. We will not be liable for any damage or injury caused by your pet(s).

  2. The sitter ensures to give every reasonable effort to ensure the good health, cleanliness, comfort, safety and happiness of the pet(s) covered by this agreement.

  3. The pet sitter will not be liable for any injury, death to your pet(s) with access to the outdoors.

  4. The pet sitter will not be held liable for any loss/disappearance of pet(s) or fatally injured that have access to an open/unlocked cat flap/enclosure (even when instructed to leave pet(s) in a fenced/caged outdoor area). In the event of your pet(s) to go missing, we will continue to provide visits for your pet(s) until your return.

  5. The pet sitter will not be liable for injury, disappearance, death or fines of any pet(s) with unsupervised access to the outdoors.

  6. We kindly ask you that you purchase extra supplies for your pet(s) to ensure we do not run out whilst in our care. Any expenses incurred by the pet sitting services for feed or other essential supplies i.e. medication, litter will be added to your invoice and will incur an additional shopping charge of £5.00.

  7. If your pet(s) require medication within the start/end service within the contract, the pet sitter must be fully informed of an equipped to cater to their needs, all relevant medical information must be completed within the booking details.

  8. The pet sitter will follow instructions to administer medications as directed by the client but cannot be held responsible for complications that arise as a result.

  9. All clients must ensure that their pet(s) are in good health, if not otherwise mentioned within the medical section in the initial booking form.

  10. If it becomes necessary, your pet(s) will either be taken to our choice of veterinary surgery, your own veterinary surgery will be notified and history will be sent, your own registered veterinary surgery or an out of hours veterinary surgery. You are responsible for any fees that are incurred during your absence of during the course of the assignment, due to this you should provide us with an emergency contact number, should you not be contactable. We will act in the best interest of the pet(s) as advised by the Veterinary Surgeon. There will be no current fee when taken to our choice of veterinary surgery.

  11. If you book us for the dog walking service please be made aware that we do not let any dog off lead, each dog must be fitted with a secure collar, harness and lead with a form of identity tag.

  12. If you book us for the dog walking service please made aware that we are unable to walk bitches who are in season, currently ill or dogs known to have infection due to a risk of contamination.

  13. If you book us for the dog walking service, please be made aware that your pet must be fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatment.

 

  1. Damage and injury

    1. It is your responsibility to insure your property and your pet. We accept no liability for damages or injury caused by your pet(s) unless we can be shown to be negligent. The pet sitter will also not be held liable for any theft or damage to your property unless we can be shown to be negligent.

    2. The pet sitter has suitable insurance in place in relation to bookings made but it is not a substitute for your own insurance cover. The pet sitter’s insurance only operates when a pet sitter is working on an assignment for the duration of that booking.

    3. Should we be bitten, injured or otherwise exposed to any disease received from your pet(s) that have not been properly vaccinated it will be your responsibility to cover all costs and damages incurred by the victim.

 

  1. Bookings and cancellations

    1. We will require a deposit of £10.00 for every booking to be paid at the time which will be taken off your total within the invoice sent to you.

    2. Cancellations with less than 7 days’ notice will result in your deposit to not be refunded back to you.

    3. In the event of we having to cancel with you, your deposit will be refunded back to you at full amount.

    4. If you book us for the dog walking service, please be made aware that we will make personal judgement to cut walks short in extreme weather conditions the safety of not only your pet but ourselves.

 

  1. Payment and privacy

    1. Accepted payment methods are Bank transfer and cash payable for deposits and full invoice payments.

    2. Bank holidays are charged at a time and a half, with the exception of Christmas day, Boxing day, New year’s day, Easter Sunday will be charged at twice the daily rate for all services.

    3. Our charges will be sent out to you in full time of booking and invoices will be sent out once the end of service agreement has ended, to also be paid in full within 10 working days. If the charges are not paid within the 10 days of the invoice being sent, we have a right to charge an administration fee of £15.00 per month until the unpaid charges have been settled. You will be also sent a reminder 3 days before the end of the 10 working days to remind you of this.

 

  1. Media

    1. You give permission for photographs and videos of your pet(s) to be used on our social media pages and website, unless specified by you. We endeavor not to include any identifiable or personal articles within this media and to not post any pictures or videos until the service agreement has ended.
